I took it over to Owl's place because she has a back yard and was willing to help me lay everything out for batting purposes. We used a spray adhesive to affix the cotton batting to the top and bottom of the quilt. The backing is an extra-wide fabric I bought at Maison de Calico.
(It's a wedding quilt. They were married 3 years ago last month. Yes, they knew it was going to be late when I offered to make it. They didn't know how late. We jokingly said 5 years. It may not be a joke.)

Very pretty. :)
One day, when we're not both overwhelmed with projects, I'd like to finish those two pillows I started. When I'm not going crazy. Say, maybe in late January.
Oy.

In other news -- any chance you'd take on a knitting commission?

Uh, yeah. Bear in mind that I'm a very basic knitter. Knit and purl and so forth, and that unless I have a specific pattern I don't know what I'm doing. ;)
What did you have in mind? Well, we can discuss at the band meeting tomorrow. *looks at clock* I mean, today. :P
